About Me

Who am I? Good question, and one I will attempt to answer in a short snippet about myself.

My name is Austin Dill. I was born and raised in central Florida. After high school I attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas for two years before transferring to the University of Florida to graduate with my B.S. in Environmental Engineering. I had heard of the Peace Corps before entering UF, but that is where I started to look into it mainly due to friends that entered it. With my Christian background I have always had an interest in helping others in the mission field. While Peace Corps may not be mission work in and of itself, it is an excellent opportunity to get out and serve the underprivileged in this world and help to better their way of life.

That brings me to what I am doing in Panama. As you may have guessed I am a Peace Corps Volunteer. I am working in the Environmental Health sector with a small community in the Darien to improve their drinking water access and sanitation practices.

James 1:27 (NASB) -  Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
